Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project is your chance for early admission to a tuition-free Master or Postgraduate programme at one of the leading universities in Russia.
- Any non-Russian citizen including stateless persons and compatriots living abroad can participate in the Olympiad.
- By winning the Olympiad talented international students are granted a tuition-free (funded by the budget of the Federal Government) enrollment on Master and Postgraduate degree programmes implemented at the Russian universities without taking any entrance exams.
- Winners and runner-ups of the Olympiad can enjoy a unified service desk, i.e. an applicant can choose any of 500 Russian universities, including those participating in the Russian Academic Excellence Project 5-100. It is possible to courses within the chosen degree programme either in Russian or in English.
- For perspective Master students the Olympiad will be held online in 2 rounds: portfolio competition and final (problem-solving challenge) round.
- Winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad are those who have scored the most points. The share of winners and prize-winners for each subject area is no more than 25% of the number of the final round rank holders in each subject area.
- There is another stage added for those who are applying to postgraduate studies. It is an interview with a prospective scientific supervisor.

Advantages of Participating in the Olympiad
- The Olympiad is held online; you do not need to travel anywhere to take part or submit documents if you are pronounced a winner.
- The Olympiad is held in two languages: Russian and English.
- The winners are eligible to study for free at the top Russian universities, co-organizers of the Olympiad.
- You can participate in several subject areas at once.
